Building trust pays off
Gaining confidence as we grow
We’re Holly & Laura! The Founders of The Quirky K9. We live on the outskirts of Warrington, with our own three dogs; all who have had varying additional needs, from medical to behavioural.
Over the years, we’ve struggled to find dog walkers or sitters who are confident enough to cater for our own dogs unique requirements; so we know first hand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust, to take care of your dogs – like one of their own.
We started The Quirky K9 with a vision to provide the very best care for your furry friends. In addition, we want to help owners gain their confidence in maintaining their dogs training plan.
We are focused on enriching your dogs life in any way we can; whether that’s through giving them the physical exercise that they need, popping in to play to give some mental stimulation, or giving you peace of mind that your dogs are being cared for while you’re away.
We will show the same level of love, care & dedication to your dogs as we would our own; ensuring that all of their needs are met – be it mental or physical.
We know your dogs are part of the family; they all have their unique individual quirks, needs and personalities – we promise to treat them as such, and give them the confidence to thrive.
If there’s anything that you want to discuss further, we promise we’re non-judgemental & want to be on your team.
I cannot express how fantastic the service is at The Quirky K9. Dexter fell head over heels in love. I was very thankful Holly is able to provide a service I didn’t know I needed. She stepped in & changed our lives when Dexter got the love, care and attention whilst we were at work. The walks made such a difference to his life; Holly was even able to eliminate some of his naughty behaviours on the lead. She truly treated Dexter like one of her own.
I highly recommend The Quirky K9 to anyone!
Holly is very knowledgeable with dogs. She knows a variety of different training methods, putting any training practices that you are already working on with your dog, continuing to put them into practice.
I have a reactive dog who is nervous around new people – but not with Holly. She makes her feel at ease with her calmness of dealing with situations.
I wouldn’t trust leaving my dog with anyone else.
I would highly recommend.
I cannot recommend Holly enough; both of my dogs are arthritic but very energetic and it’s difficult to find someone who can meet their needs in regards to walking and knowing when they need to take it easy, but she understands them and their quirks, and treats them like part of the family.
I highly recommend her.
I have worked along side Holly, as well as known her for a few years now.
She works so hard with her own dogs, and always puts the effort to help others too
She’s given me lots of practical things to try for my reactive stubborn pup; coming from her own experience with her own.
I’d 100% recommend, and trust her with any breed, temperaments or behavioural challenges.
We can’t wait to join the adventures of The Quirky K9!
Holly is an extremely dedicated, honest & reliable young woman.
She went above and beyond in helping us with our reactive rescue dogs & nothing was ever too much trouble.
We found Holly to be very conscientious & competent. She was willing to do whatever was needed, with the best interests of the dogs in mind., which also resulted in our greater confidence when handling our dogs.
